We are sad to announce that our first chairman, Dr John Robinson, passed away on 20th May at the age of 92.
He had been for many years consultant psychiatrist at Littlemore Hospital in Oxford. Author of Recusant Yeomen in the Counties of York and Lancaster, John fully lived up to his Catholic beliefs, always encouraging and supportive.
He will be fondly remembered by the many Russian visitors to HealthProm whom he and his equally generous wife Catherine lunched before showing them the historic sites of Oxford, which meant so much to him.
John is survived by his wife Catherine, daughter Margaret and sons Shaun and Timothy. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this time.
