We are thrilled to announce the launch of a new project in partnership with City Bridge Foundation, beginning on 1st July 2025. The project will support 100 young Afghan and Ukrainian refugees living in London by expanding access to education and mental wellbeing services.

This two-year project builds on over two and a half years of HealthProm’s work with Afghan and Ukrainian families across London. During this time, we’ve developed partnerships with local organisations and gained crucial insight into the persistent gaps in service provision for displaced young refugees and their families.

To address these needs, the programme will deliver:

- Educational support to allow children and young people to achieve better education outcomes .

- Weekly group wellbeing sessions, based on our proven model of therapeutic group counselling.

- Parent support groups, to help families navigate this period of transition and strengthen the overall support system for children.

Through these interventions, we aim to foster self-confidence, social inclusion, and long-term educational success among young refugees. By helping them build the tools they need today, we support them in making empowered decisions about their futures.

Our previous work with young people, combined with our international expertise has made us uniquely equipped to support young refugees as they transition into a new life in the UK. Additionally, we aim to work closely with social workers, schools and education experts to ensure effective design and implementation of project activities.

This new partnership with City Bridge Foundation represents a vital investment in the potential of young refugees, we are grateful for their support and look forward to the project’s development.
