This week marks Refugee Week, the world’s largest arts and culture festival celebrating the creativity, resilience, and contributions of refugees and people seeking sanctuary. Established in 1998, Refugee Week brings communities together through thousands of events and activities across the UK and beyond, fostering understanding and connection. The theme for Refugee Week 2026 is Courage, which was inspired by the everyday bravery shown by people rebuilding their lives in new places.

At HealthProm, we are celebrating Refugee Week with a vibrant programme of events that celebrate culture, creativity, and togetherness. We warmly invite you to join us for:

Ukrainian Art Workshop – Tuesday 16 June, 11am–1pm (Camden)

Ukrainian Craft Workshop – Friday 19 June, 2–4pm (Hackney)

Yoga Class for All – Friday 19 June, 2–3:30pm (Calthorpe Community Garden)

Refugee Day Celebration – Sunday 21 June, 12:30–5pm (Calthorpe Community Garden)

Whether you want to learn a new craft, move your body, or simply celebrate together, you are a vital part of the HealthProm family — and you are so warmly welcome.
